Kambra is a pretty stone house with a garden, located in the village Pliskovica on the Karst Plateau in Slovenia near Italian border. Not far from the Adriatic sea and not yet discovered by many people, it sits within a series of pleasant hills accented by small villages and vineyards where you can taste some of the best wines in the world.
The 400-year-old barn was carefully restored. The open-plan space spans over three levels, with distinct areas for cooking, living, and sleeping. A contemporary concrete cube opposite the house is an extra bedroom, bathroom, utility room, and summer kitchen. Wrapped in a pergola, it seamlessly connects to the garden, which serves as an inviting outdoor living space with a terrace, dining area, and hot tub.
